"Every little girl needs a big brother to clear the way for her reign. He will show her the ropes and keep away the dragons. He is her protector."

These two beauties belong to Christine and Deldric. Christine came to me looking to have maternity photos done with just a few weeks left before her induction date. Maternity is become my favorite subject to photograph! The bond between a mother and her bump and the excitement that you can see from dad's flashing smile resonates in the deepest heart of hearts. Take a look at some of the photos we were captured just last month!

Christine and Deldric didn't know that little Brielle would make her way into the world on her own accord just a few weeks after these photos and a few days before her scheduled induction. Luckily, they were ready-ish. Brielle is this amazing couple's second child together, joining their blended family of (now) six children. During the maternity session, they were pretty adament that this would be the last but, you never know!

Fast forward to sweet Brielle's Newborn session. She is a diva in her own right! Between moving her head and hands un-assisted and cracking up the biggest laugh that I have ever heard from a two week old, she is going to give this mama and daddy a run for their money! Tristan, the handsome one in the photos, is the best big brother. He loves to give her kisses and worries about her when she cries. Needless to say, steer clear boys!!! Between Tristan and Daddy, she won't have any suitors any time soon and in daddy's words: "ever!"

It is truly an honor to be a part of the Newton families memories. I can't wait to see them again in 2021 for more sweet sibling kisses and the sweetest sounds of baby laughs!

With 2020 in the wind, I'm so excited to share all of the new things that 2021 has in store for Peachtree Photography Co. Obviously, you've seen the new logo, the new website, and hopefully by now, you've checked out the new packages as well. Behind the scenes, I have been working my little heart out to make the Peachtree Experience one to remember. From a brand new Prop Catalog to an upgraded Client Portal, this year will be one for the history books!

The brand new 16-page Peachtree Prop Catalog is available to all clients. There are a range of Newborn props, backdrops, Maternity gowns and much more! At no additional cost to you, provide a list of items from the catalog that you'd like me to bring along on our ride and your wish is my command. I have attached the Peachtree Prop Catalog here for your viewing pleasure.

The next big thing is a brand new Maternity Closet! Capturing expectant mamas in the last few months of their pregnancy has become the prized possession of my photography. These are photos that you will hold dear to you whether you are welcoming your sixth child or your first Rainbow Baby. You have many, many other things to worry about other than purchasing a dress for these photos. So I'd like to offer a closet to take some of the work off of your plate. The closet is comprised of 8 gowns, some simple and flowy, others are more dramatic with long trains. The dresses range in sizes from small to 3XL and can also be found in the Prop Catalog above.

Next on the list is a much more user friendly client portal. Now, you will be able to see your session orders and invoices, any pending or paid payments, and so much more. It is important to me that you're able to find everything in one place and that can now be done in that client portal. There will be no longer be a separate Paypal invoice because it will all be done through the website.

I sincerely hope that all of these updates and changes will make your Peachtree experience that much more enjoyable. One of the best forms of advertisement is word of mouth and I'd love for you to able to tell your friends and loved ones all about your great experiences with Peachtree Photography Co.

Cheers to a new year and a new, more efficient way of doing things!

Have a great week! You'll be hearing from me again later this week.

Welcome, welcome! As many of you know, I have been doing photography for almost two years now and they have been the best two years of my life! I have met so many wonderful people and (sometimes) smiling children. It warms my heart to know that my photos have changed so many lives.

For quite a long time, I've considered starting a blog but never really committed to it until now. But why now? (We'll get into that later.) If you haven't read 'my story' under About Me, I encourage you to stop what you're doing, go read it and come back.

I'll wait. Click here.

Now that you have a better understanding of who I am... I'll get straight to the Why and the Why Now. My 'why' is simple. While every photographer's 'why' is typically to share their passion with their readers, mine is a little more complex. Of course, sharing my work with you is a guarantee, I feel that I have a story to tell. A story that others can relate to and see that you are not alone! And why now, you ask? 2020 was ROUGH and I mean, ROUGH AS HELL!!! (There will be cussing in this blog, it's just who I am, unapologetically.) So, I have decided that 2021 is going to be The Year, Our Year, My Year! I have begun to work on myself, emotionally and mentally, and if I can change just one individual's outlook on life, young, old, black, white, skinny, 'morbidly obese,' I have done my part in society to make this shithole a better place!

What will you read about? You will read about love after divorce, you'll read about the struggle to lose weight, you'll read about a child's reaction to a parent's addiction, you'll read about a mother's love, women's empowerment and so, so much more. This blog will be about so much more than my passion for photography, it will be about me, living unapologetically, in a world that isn't very forgiving.

As you read along to the posts, I encourage you to comment with your thoughts, your feelings, whether or not you can relate. I encourage you to ask questions, let me know what you'd like to read about next time. Through this blog, you will truly learn about the woman behind the camera and I hope that this blog will comfort you and show that you are not alone.
