About Your Favorite Photographer!

Hey y'all! I go by Danielle! I have been called an "old soul" for many of my 32 years on Earth and I will forever take that as a compliment.
 

I was born and raised in Norfolk, Va. My childhood consisted of spending time at my grandparents house while my mother worked and 'teaching' my imaginary class of students everything I learned in school that day. I was 1000% positive that I was going to grow up and be a first grade teacher.

Life had other plans.

I went to Old Dominion University for two years. Left with the intention of getting married and moving to Hawaii and going back to school. Got married. Never moved to Hawaii. Had a child and got divorced all before the age of 24.

Marriage taught me a lot about myself and yet, divorce was the best decision I ever made.

And, needless to say, I didn't become a teacher.

 

I met the man of my dreams six years ago and have truly loved every minute of our blended family.

I believe that laughter can get you through anything; an awkward moment in the elevator, a drink bought for you by the creep at the end of the bar, or almost any of your child's antics.

I firmly believe that everything happens for a reason.
 

I love the water but I hate the sand, I love the sunshine but I hate the glare.

Full transparency is key and I live my life unapologetically.
